Gambhir’s Support Gambhir believes that both Sharma and Kohli have shown their ability to perform on big stages, such as the T20 and 50-over World Cups. He is optimistic about their participation in upcoming tournaments, including the Champions Trophy and a significant Test series in Australia.
Retirement from T20Is Both Sharma and Kohli retired from T20I cricket after winning the T20 World Cup in Barbados. Their decision allows them to focus on the ODI and Test formats, potentially extending their careers and maintaining their fitness levels.
Workload Management Gambhir stressed the importance of managing the workload for players like Jasprit Bumrah, ensuring they are available for crucial matches. By playing only in ODIs and Tests, Sharma and Kohli can better manage their workload and remain fit for key games.
