Aakhir Tak – In Depth
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has alleged an attack attempt on Arvind Kejriwal, involving people linked to the BJP, during his foot march in Delhi. AAP leaders claim it is part of a broader conspiracy against Kejriwal amid upcoming Delhi Assembly elections. However, Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva refuted the accusations, clarifying that locals merely questioned Kejriwal about issues like water quality, but AAP mischaracterized it as a “BJP-sponsored attack.”
Senior AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj tweeted, “When ED, CBI, and jail didn’t work, now BJP people are orchestrating attacks on Arvind Kejriwal. If anything happens to him, BJP will be responsible.” Former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia condemned the incident, calling it “alarming” and alleging it’s an attempt to sabotage AAP’s mission in Delhi.
AAP leaders, including Durgesh Pathak and Sanjay Singh, echoed similar concerns, accusing the BJP of ongoing attempts over the past decade to undermine Kejriwal’s position. They argue that when measures like CBI investigations failed, an orchestrated attack was attempted.
