Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has distributed scooties to Class 12 toppers of the MP Board at a special event held at the Kushabhau Thackeray Convention Centre in Bhopal. The initiative (Scooty Yojana), launched in 2023 by the School Education Department, aims to reward academic excellence among students of government schools. This scheme by the Madhya Pradesh government will motivate students.

School Education Minister Uday Pratap Singh and Tribal Affairs Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah were also present at the event, which saw the symbolic distribution of scooties to selected students. Under this scheme, 7,900 meritorious students from across the state were awarded financial assistance to purchase a scooty of their choice. There is a wave of joy among the students due to this scooty scheme. It’s a great opportunity for the students to purchase a scooty of their own choice.

Ahead of the distribution, students were given the option to choose between a petrol or an electric scooty. Those opting for an electric scooty received Rs 1.2 lakh in their bank accounts, while students selecting a petrol scooty were granted Rs 90,000. A separate symbolic handover ceremony for selected toppers was also organised at Minto Hall. The scheme continues to serve as a motivation for students in government schools to strive for academic excellence. This is a commendable step by the Madhya Pradesh government. The distribution process was smooth, and students were happy to receive the scooties.
