Hyderabad Police arrested 140 individuals, including 42 women, during a raid on a pub on Friday. This operation was triggered by information regarding obscene dance performances. Those arrested included the pub’s manager, cashier, and DJ.
The TOS pub, located in the upscale Banjara Hills area of Hyderabad, allegedly employed women from various states to perform obscene dances to attract male patrons and increase profits. The police stated that this raid was part of a crackdown against illegal activities in the city.
The police team was led by Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Venkat Ramana. Prior to the raid, the pub had been under surveillance for its involvement in “illegal activities,” according to sources.
