Israeli Military Spokesperson Claims Raids in Lebanon for Months

Israeli military spokesperson Daniel Hagari stated on Tuesday that Israeli forces have been conducting raids in southern Lebanon for months, uncovering Hezbollah tunnels and weapon caches hidden under homes. Hagari noted that these operations revealed plans by Hezbollah to infiltrate Israel.

This information was released shortly after Israel announced a ground operation against the Hezbollah movement in southern Lebanon. Hagari mentioned that numerous operations have exposed detailed plans by Hezbollah to carry out attacks similar to the one executed by Hamas in southern Israel on October 7 last year.

He emphasized that the findings and evidence gathered during these raids would be presented to the international community. Hagari showcased videos from soldiers’ body cameras and maps illustrating the discoveries.
